Since January 2024, Maximilian has been coordinating the hydrogen research projects of DVGW CERT GmbH in the Products business unit. Based on the research projects, he develops the H2 certification programmes of DVGW CERT GmbH, which close the existing gaps in the certification of hydrogen-compatible products until the national / European standards have been fully tested for their H2 readiness. 

Maximilian completed his Master's degree in Renewable Energies in 2023 and in the course of this, he already focussed on hydrogen. He wrote his master's thesis at the Jülich Research Centre on alkaline hydrogen electrolysis.
