Project Director Circular Economy, Regulatory and Business Development

Beate Edl is working as Project Director Circular Economy at OMV. She studied Mechanical Engineering - Management and holds a doctoral degree from the Vienna University of Technology. After graduating Ms Edl worked in the field of innovation research at the Vienna University of Economics and Business before moving to the private sector: at a large consulting company Ms. Edl advised clients from various industries on the topics of technology and digitalization for several years. She has been with OMV since 2019 and in her current position is working on building the business model around OMVs patented chemical recycling technology ReOil. In addition, she represents the topic of chemical recycling on behalf of OMV at the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic).
