Graduated in 2011 as an Environmental Engineering at the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Tachira in Venezuela. In 2017, she obtained the M.Sc. in Air Quality Control, Solid Waste and Waste Water Process Engineering (WASTE) at the University of Stuttgart in Germany. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a Research Associate at the University of Stuttgart aiming to understand the behaviour of bioplastics during the composting and fermentation process of biowaste in a project financed by the Environmental Ministry of Baden-Wurttemberg. Since November 2021, she’s been working as a Business Development Engineer in Tomra focusing in bringing plastics lost to landfill and/or incineration back to circularity while connecting the plastic value chain with the waste management sector to enable the upcycling of plastics.
