Silvia Sáenz Gómez is an Industrial Engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater sector, specializing in pumping systems, treatment processes, and application engineering. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Chemistry and Environmental Technology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. After starting her career in wastewater treatment plant operation and maintenance, she joined Grundfos, where she has held roles including Application Engineer, Project Manager, Training & Knowledge Manager for Iberia, and Europe Market Development Manager for Water Utility. Since April 2025, Silvia has been part of the Global Application & Solutions team at Grundfos Water Utility, focusing on system-level solutions, application best practices, and translating regulatory and market requirements into scalable technical concepts for wastewater utilities worldwide.
