This presentation introduces the Bucher CityCat VR17ae – a fully autonomous, all-electric compact sweeper built for industrial operations. We will show how the vehicle uses 25 sensors and AI-based navigation to independently clean production sites, harbours, logistics centres and recycling facilities – up to 7 hours at a time, around the clock. Attendees will learn how dual-mode operation (manual and autonomous) boosts operational efficiency, compensates for labour shortages, and enables continuous driverless operation through automatic charging, refilling and material discharge.
