In March 2024, AWM launched the chatbot “Muckl” and further developed it into a live bot. The goal was to relieve the telephone service during periods of high call volume and to provide citizens with an automated yet personal digital contact option. The presentation offers insights into the chatbot’s implementation, highlights initial experiences from ongoing operations, and covers topics such as usage statistics, impacts on telephone services, challenges during rollout, and plans for future development.
