This session provides a basic introduction to Pile Cloth Media Filtration (PCMF) and examines the three central axes of its technological development. Since its introduction in the late 1990s, intensive research, testing and optimisation has been carried out at various levels to make the filtration process continuously more powerful, robust and efficient.
It has become apparent that PCMF behaves differently depending on the area of application. Only through in-depth practical experience and consistent further development has the process been refined to such an extent that it reliably meets the respective requirements under a wide variety of conditions.
