At Komptech, service is much more than just machine maintenance – it is a central component of our overall service promise. This includes high spare parts availability, the quality of genuine parts, fast and expert support, short delivery times, a global dealer and service network, as well as digital services that support customers in their day-to-day operations.
This holistic approach to service begins right at the machine development stage and is exemplified in this presentation by the Nemus. It has been consistently designed to ensure that maintenance, cleaning and the replacement of components can be carried out as simply and efficiently as possible. Contributing factors include, amongst others, good access to the engine unit from three sides, an optionally extendable engine unit, the integrated access between the hopper and the drum, and the fold-out drum for optimal cleaning.
Attention has also been paid to serviceability when replacing key components: the hopper belt can be pulled out forwards in a cassette design, whilst the collection belt slides out backwards. This machine concept is complemented by the use of well-known third-party components such as Perkins diesel engines and Marelli generators, which are available worldwide. This makes it clear: the Nemus is a prime example of how Komptech Service thinks comprehensively – from design and spare parts to support, a strong international network and digital solutions.
