From digital resource marketplaces to tools for compliance or waste monitoring - there are numerous examples for data-driven circular economy approaches. While this reflects the huge potential of data for the circular economy, it also shows the importance of cooperation among digital actors and the need for data interoperability. As an international ‘think and do tank’ for circular economy practitioners, the PREVENT Waste Alliance provides a platform for its 500 members and enhances cooperation. A thriving network of about 60 members develop and operate digital tools that enhance circular economy along the whole of cycle of products and services around the world.
This session will provide insights on best practices of digital solutions developed by PREVENT members and discuss their potential for a Circular Economy. Through its interactive character, the session will foster connections among digital stakeholders, identify cooperation potentials and reflect on opportunities offered during IFAT and beyond. Therefore, this session is relevant to start-ups as well as established businesses and investors that would like to learn about best practices of data driven approaches.
