Stefan Dürr did his studies of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and Ècole Polytechnique de Montréal. He worked as a researcher in the field of chemical hydrogen storage at FAU before he took up the position of Head of Technology and Innovation at the Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B). 
At the H2.B, he is responsible for research and consulting services concerning hydrogen technology and hydrogen projects. Further, Mr. Dürr is the main contributor to the hydrogen strategy and activity monitoring process.
