Outi Teräs joined Neste's Chemical Recycling development in 2017 with 10 years of prior experience in leading R&D functions and strategic projects in the paper and packaging industry. Before taking on her current role in Technology Commercialization, she led the R&D and Technology Development for Neste's end-to-end chemical recycling concept. Outi's mission is to advance technologies, partnerships and market conditions that enable sustainable, safe and scalable use of waste plastic as raw material for new plastics and chemicals. Her non-executive interests focus on low carbon technologies and circular economy.
