Lucia Gusmaroli is the European Projects Area Manager at the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP), the cluster for the sustainable use of water in Catalonia, Spain. CWP brings together over 170 water-related organisations—companies, research centres, and public bodies—to promote innovation, networking, and internationalisation.

Lucia leads the development and implementation of EU-funded projects within the cluster. She holds a BSc and MSc in Chemistry from the University of Pavia (Italy), a PhD in Water Science and Technology, and an MBA from the University of Girona. Before joining CWP in 2020, she was a researcher at the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA), focusing on emerging contaminants in wastewater and surface water. She participates in numerous international conferences as speaker and has co-authored several scientific publications.
