Dr. Peter Riad is a civil engineer and graduated from Irrigation and Hydraulics Department, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He has more than 22 years of experience in national and international projects. He got his MSc. degree from IHE Delft in Holland and completed his PhD at University of Hannover in Germany. Since February 2021, Dr. Riad has been working as a water sector expert by Africa Business Network and based at the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK-Egypt) in Cairo. He plays a crucial role as a match maker between the local and the German companies, as he shares the potential business opportunities and the updated market news with the registered German companies, organizes business trips, B2B meetings and workshops for both sides. The sector expert water offers support to the companies from Egypt and other Northern African countries, working in the water sector, to establish contacts with German suppliers to know more about high quality products and services helpful for their businesses.
