After more than 20 years experience in design and build of liquid treatment systems Norbert Selzer joined in 2007 the large German membrane manufacturer Membrana who later became part of 3M and recently the newly built Solventum company. There, he is in charge for market and application development of Liqui-Cel membrane contactors and other industrial filtration products in the EMEA region.

He had the honor to serve as chairman of the board of the German Membrane Society DGMT e.V. from 2009 until 2023. Since  then he  is leading the DGMT working group "Membranes for climate protection and mitigation of climate change impacts".
