Mohannad is an Investment and Business Development Professional at the National Center for Waste Management (MWAN), Saudi Arabia's national regulatory center overseeing all waste streams across the Kingdom. He was part of the core team that developed Saudi Arabia's National Waste Management Strategy and the national master planning exercise covering 22 geographical clusters across the Kingdom — work that identified and defined the investment opportunity pipeline now open to local and international investors.

Building on that foundation, Mohannad spearheaded the enhancement of MWAN's investment environment — designing the end-to-end investor journey, investment frameworks, structuring PPP and B2B business models across multiple waste streams, and establishing the promotion and outreach channels that brought the Kingdom's investment pipeline to international markets. He has represented Saudi Arabia's waste investment case at Expo 2025 Osaka and led investment roadshows across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and others.
