Andrea Stürmer is an accomplished insurance executive and senior advisor with a distinguished international career spanning London, Munich, Zurich, Los Angeles, and Vienna. As Chief Executive Officer of Zurich Insurance in Austria, she led the company through a dynamic transformation. . In her current role, she works with companies and municipalities as a strategic advisor on climate resilience and regularly delivers keynotes on risk, resilience, and leadership.

She holds master's degrees from both London School of Economics and Harvard Kennedy School. She was nominated a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2012. Andrea Stürmer is a member of CEOs for Future and serves as climate ambassador of the city of Munich.
