In view of increasing demands for resource conservation, climate protection, and circular economy, innovative approaches to wastewater treatment and nutrient recovery are becoming increasingly relevant. The keynote speeches provide a simple overview of current projects being tested in various European cities and show how these concepts can be transferred from the pilot phase to large-scale application.
