Dr. Alicja Yogendran

Project and process development engineer

After graduating (2012) in Civil Engineering and working as a researcher at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany), I published my results on the potentials and limitations of biological treatment of industrial wastewaters and water reuse in general in 2021. After that, I gained practical experience in the operation, optimization and construction of industrial wastewater treatment plants in the private sector.

In 2025, I joined HAMBURG WASSER, one of the biggest municipal drinking water and wasterwater companies in Germany. My task is to drive technological innovations across the comapny's portfolio - from wastewater treatment to energy recovery and water reuse.
