The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), with the aim of reducing packaging waste and promoting recycling, including through new requirements for recycling-friendly design and the mandatory use of recycled materials, will serve as a blueprint for further regulations.

For example, in the automotive sector and later also in the electrical and electronics sector, the textile sector, and the construction sector. On the panel, we want to discuss the fundamentals of a successful circular economy:

- What are the recycling potentials in the individual industries?

- Which technologies will we need?

- What framework conditions does recycling need to become competitive?

- What is the significance of other raw materials such as biomass or CO₂? These and other questions will be discussed in expert talks with one association representative and two industry representatives on stage and with the audience.
