Clovis E. Sarmento-Leite is the Global Sales Director for Wastewater at Energy Recovery, where he leads commercial strategy, market development, and customer engagement as the company expands its solutions for municipal and industrial water reuse. He plays a key role in establishing Energy Recovery’s new wastewater business unit and advancing technologies that support efficiency and sustainability across the sector.
Clovis brings over 15 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment, having held senior commercial and partnership roles at DuPont Water Solutions, SafBon Water Technology, SUEZ, and GE Water & Process Technologies. Throughout his career, he has led global sales initiatives, developed strategic alliances, and partnered with Fortune 500 companies to deploy innovative water conservation solutions.
He holds an International Business Program from Cranfield University, an Executive MBA from Florida International University, and a background in chemical engineering and
marketing from leading institutions in Brazil.
