Recycling of medical waste - Influence of waste sterilization on plastic properties

The presentation will examine the influence of steam sterilization with fractionated pre-vacuum and integrated shredding on three selected plastics that are typical of medical waste. Both chain degradation and oxidation as well as the influence on important mechanical characteristics will be considered.
