Björn Dinges arbeitet im Business Development und Marketing bei LANXESS im Bereich Ionenaustauscherharze. Sein fachlicher Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Entwicklung von PFAS-Entfernungslösungen für Trinkwasser- und Abwasseranwendungen sowie der technologischen und regulatorischen Bewertung moderner Aufbereitungsverfahren.

 

Björn Dinges works in Business Development and Marketing for ion exchange resins at LANXESS. His focus is on the development and commercialization of solutions for PFAS removal in drinking water and wastewater applications. In close cooperation with R&D, application engineering, and system integrators, he is particularly involved in selective ion exchange resins, regulatory requirements, and the evaluation of technologies for efficient and cost-effective PFAS treatment.

Ultra-short-chain PFAS are difficult to remove due to their high mobility. This presentation introduces the newly developed Lewatit® MDS TP 108 ion exchange resin and a case study showing effective removal. Ion exchange in drinking water is discussed and compared with activated carbon, demonstrating how both technologies complement each other.
