Dr. Harald Sommer

Dr. Harald Sommer studied environmental technics and made his PhD in decentralised storm water treatment. He works since more than 30 years with the SIEKER company in the field of storm water related plannings and research. This includes storm water management, Blue Green Infrastructure,  treatment as well as sponge city projects. He was working in many plannings and studies as well as national and international research projects. He conducted i.e. the WaterGridSense Projects for development of a sensor system platform and is working in Water4All project Springiness.

The Water4All partnership includes 90 institutions from 32 countries and three European networks. It aims to secure long-term water supplies by promoting innovations in water-related research. The session will provide an update on past activities and the upcoming third phase of the partnership.
