Dr. Jochen Hoffmeister berät seit 1992 bei der Prognos AG öffentliche und private Unternehmen sowie Ministerien und Behörden der Kreislaufwirtschaft. Bis zu seinem Ausscheiden Anfang des Jahres 2026 war Herr Hoffmeister Partner der Prognos AG und Direktor für Wirtschaft, Energie & Infrastruktur. Heut arbeitet Herr Hoffmeister als Senior-Experte für die Prognos AG.

The Roadmap 2045 describes the importance of thermal waste treatment for the circular economy in Germany. Among other things, it includes scenarios for waste disposal security and highlights the significance of energy generation and climate protection. The "Status Report on the German Circular Economy in 2026" provides a sound technical framework for this.
