The digital transformation in water management is developing at a rapid pace, posing major chal-lenges for stakeholders, particularly operators. At the same time, the diverse technologies offered by digitalization hold great potential for making the processes of companies in the water management sector more efficient. Against the backdrop of demographic change, the expected increases in process efficiency are urgently needed in order to overcome the many challenges.
