Dr. Sebastian Brandis (59) ist seit Dezember 2016 Vorstand der Stiftung Menschen für Menschen sowie seit April 2019 Sprecher des Vorstands. Vor seiner Berufung zum Vorstand wirkte Dr. Brandis von 2010 bis 2016 als Geschäftsführer der e-shelter facility services GmbH (heute NTT Group), die Rechenzentren in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz entwickelt und betreibt. Davor war er von 2001 bis 2010 in mehreren leitenden Funktionen bei der BT Group (BT Germany und BT Global Services) tätig; von 2008 an als Geschäftsführer der BT Germany (München). Weitere Stationen waren VIAG Interkom (1998 bis 2001) und Booz Allen & Hamilton (1995-1998). Seit 2016 wirkt er nebenher als privater Investor und Gründer sozialer und kultureller Initiativen.

Als Vorstand der Stiftung Menschen für Menschen verantwortet Dr. Brandis die Bereiche Kommunikation, Fundraising und Projektentwicklung, Projektinformation & Monitoring.

In this event shall be presented experiences in this topic from Bavaria and international partners (Catalonia/ Spain, Capetown/ Soutafrika, Tunisia). In addition to management concepts, technologies for advanced wastewater treatment, groundwater recharge and water reuse will be presented on the basis of ongoing research and implementation projects.

The event is divided into two parts; first, a panel session will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. on the “Blue Stage” (Hall B2), followed by a workshop from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Conference Room B61 (Hall 6).
