Studium mit Abschluss Dipl.-Ing. (Maschinenbau) an der TH Köln. Von 1989 bis 1993 Konstrukteur in der Traktorenentwicklung bei J. I. Case GmbH, Neuss. 1993 Wechsel zu MAE, Erkrath, als Projektingenieur für vollautomatische Richtmaschinen. Ab 1994 Leiter der Abteilung Entwicklung und Konstruktion bei der Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG in Essen (Oldenburg). Von 2019 bis Ende 2025 Leiter Forschung und Entwicklung sowie Prokurist der Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG, heute Prokurist und Head of Innovation and Legal Affairs.
