Professional Background

Studies in Process Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, with a focus on thermal and mechanical process engineering.

From 1989 to 1993, Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology, and Project Manager for research projects in the field of membrane technology (MF, UF, pervaporation, vapor permeation) and environmental engineering, with a particular focus on solvent recovery and exhaust air treatment. This position was completed in parallel with his doctoral degree at the University of Stuttgart.

Head of the Research and Development Department at HYDAC Filtertechnik in the Process Technology product division.

Technical Director at HYDAC Process Technology GmbH, which emerged from the Process Technology product division, with responsibility for the operational management of design and development, materials management, and production.
