Dr. Anita Haupt is Deputy COO Water Treatment at DAS Environmental Expert GmbH and has more than 15 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment. Her professional passion lies in developing sustainable solutions for industrial wastewater treatment, with the goal of making contaminated water reusable in an efficient and reliable way.

She has been with DAS Environmental Expert since 2019. As Director Process Design and previously as Team Lead Process Engineering, she was responsible for developing customized plant concepts for industrial clients worldwide. In her current role as Deputy COO Water Treatment, she plays a key role in shaping the strategic development of the business unit.

Prior to this, Dr. Haupt worked for over eleven years as a research associate at Technische Universität Dresden, where she focused extensively on innovative technologies in industrial water management. Her doctoral research on forward osmosis in industrial water treatment was awarded magna cum laude and supported by an ESF scholarship.

Dr. Haupt holds a degree in Water Management Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from TU Dresden and combines scientific expertise with many years of practical experience in the planning and implementation of complex water treatment projects.
