Ursula Denison is Head of Corporate Affairs at Der Grüne Punkt (Green Dot Germany) and has over 35 years of international experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems. Since joining Green Dot at its launch in 1991—the world’s first packaging EPR system—she has supported governments, PROs, and global brands in shaping financially viable and operationally effective EPR models across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Ursula also serves as Director of PRO Europe, representing 31 national Green Dot organizations, the largest and longest‑running EPR network worldwide. Her work focuses on EPR policy development, system performance, fee modulation, and adapting European best practices to emerging markets.
She speaks regularly at international conferences and multi-stakeholder platforms, providing practical insights into EPR cost structures, investment needs, and sustainable financing models for high-performing collection and recycling systems.
Mrs. Denison has lived and studied in Germany and the United States, and received an M.A. from the University of Maryland in 1991. She is married to a U.S. citizen and has two sons.
