Laura Vecoli Headshot

Laura Vecoli works in process improvement and loves turning complex processes into understandable and effective frameworks. At Closing the Loop, she focuses on the world of electronic waste—helping build better ways to collect and recycle electronics from across Africa so that they’re managed responsibly. Over time, she's developed a strong feel for both the practical challenges and the real-world impact of this work, from environmental protection to making better use of limited resources. As global electronic waste reduction increases in importance, she is especially interested in the need for standards to ensure transparency, fairness, and real impact, and will present a first-of-its-kind Minimum Requirements designed to set a practical baseline and help the industry move forward in a credible and sustainable way.
