Klaus Wohnig, born in 1968, graduate in business administration, founder and managing partner of Atmedio GmbH - Circular Economy Advisors
After holding management positions in international industrial companies in various sectors, he served for ten years as CEO/Board Member of APK, a leading technology provider of dissolution recycling, which was fully acquired by LyondellBasell in 2024.
Mr. Wohnig is Vice Chairman of the Plastics Recycling Association at the German Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Management bvse e. V. (Bundesverband Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung e. V.)
Beyond that, he serves as board member of the German recycling and waste disposal association BDE e.V. (Bundesverband Entsorgungs-, Wasser- und Kreislaufwirtschaft e. V.), as Chairman of the global Dissolution Recycling of Plastics Initiative DROP-IN and as Vice Chairman of the Dissolution Recycling Task Force of Plastics Recyclers Europe.
