At the end of 2025, for the first time, Germany established a legal framework for carbon management with the Carbon Dioxide Storage and Transport Act. Nevertheless, the ramp-up of a functioning CO₂ value chain still faces fundamental challenges. This expert panel will highlight the opportunities and obstacles in managing CO₂.
