Frank Pothen is a professor of economics at the University of Applied Sciences (Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule) in Jena, Germany. ​His applied techno-economic research supports the transformation of European industries towards climate neutrality and closed material cycles for more than ten years. Frank Pothen's investigates global markets for recycled materials, in particular steel scrap.
