Maike Lambarth is an engineer, serial entrepreneur and CEO of Cyclize GmbH - a climate and deep tech spin-off of the University of Stuttgart that rethinks carbon. Cyclize uses mixed plastic waste and CO₂ to produce synthesis gas, a basic building block of industry that is currently produced from fossil natural gas or coal. Cyclize relies on a plasma-based process and has completed seed financing of €5 million in 2024. The aim is to establish an industry-wide scalable carbon circular economy and contribute to net zero.
