Sara Koedel

Senior Manager Regulatory & Sustainability
Sara Ködel

I’m Sara Koedel, a lawyer by background and Head of Sustainability in External Affairs at Philip Morris Germany. Since joining during the transformation of our company, I’ve worked across Legal and Corporate Communications before moving into Sustainability - experiences that shaped my belief that meaningful change happens when innovation, regulation, and responsibility come together.

For me, sustainability is not just a strategy — it’s a responsibility and a commitment to shaping the future we want to live in. I’m passionate about bringing people, policies, and ideas together and I am particularly interested in how regulatory frameworks and innovation can jointly accelerate transformation across industries.
