Anja Schwetje, Dr. Ella Stengler, Steffen Walk, Bettina Kamuk

Info
About 1/5 of global CH4 emissions come from dumpsites & landfills due to uncontrolled decomposition of organic waste.
Any organic waste that is diverted cannot produce uncontrolled CH4, making separate collection a lever & a target.
Incentives such as Carbon Credits or ETS can support these systems & encourage proper management of organic waste.
