Philippe Fournand Blue-sight

Philippe Fournand is the chair of Blue-Sight Conseil, a consultancy company working in innovation and smart cities at the European and National levels. He is deeply committed to sustainability, as evidenced by his current pivotal role in the POSITIVE Clean Energy project, ASCEND, funded by the European Commission. He is also involved in the Scalable Cities European initiative, which supports the 20 smart Cities and Communities projects funded by the European Commission. He is one of the experts working on the Climate Cities Impact Investment Fund Concept, nurtured by a group of high-level experts coming from the SCC community.

Previously, he was involved in Smarter Together, a Smart Cities Communities project, as well as various European projects focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI4Eu, AI4 Copernicus). Under his leadership, Blue-Sight has also been directly involved in providing consultancy services to cities and companies, particularly in innovation and smart city development.

His main areas of expertise include innovation and open innovation, smart cities, business models, finance and technology transfer programs. He has released essential publications, such as the innovation management model canvas, on Smart cities. His leadership in managing large-scale projects and consortia, in public-private partnerships, including the 4P approach, and in innovation and creativity instils confidence in his abilities. He is also adept at animating either small, high-level meetings (such as advisory boards) or large meetings aimed at onboarding everyone into the project.
